S.S. COSMA E DAMIANO
The project provides the preservative restoration of the S.S. Cosma e Damiano Parish Church in Pinzano di Limbiate, as well as the restructuring and revamping of the whole complex, including the normative adjustment. Since the 18th century today’s courtyard was assigned to parish vegetable garden.
Only inside the courtyard one can have the integral perception of the shape of the ecclesiastic complex.
The preservation project was based on the results of the historical, morphologic and material analysis of the complex and was drawn up with scientific approach aiming at protecting the original architectonic and environmental values, determining the respect due to a structure that has preserved a considerable compositive value with important building peculiarities, typical of Lombard rural architecture...
